Today I want you to browse through your contact list on your computer/phone or your paper address book. Go through and delete people that you no longer are in contact with. There’s no need to slog through 100 names and addresses when you no longer need 20 of those names.  If you use a paper address book and have a lot of changes to make, consider getting a new one and starting over fresh.

(WXIA)--Georgia Connections Academy, a statewide provider of high-quality, highly accountable virtual K-12 schooling, has opened enrollment for the 2014-2015 school year and will be conducting in person information sessions with parents and students across the state.

“We are enrolling 1000 additional students across all grade levels for the coming academic year,” said Lead Principal Heather J. Robinson. “We have a waiting list as we open enrollment, so we encourage parents to get their applications in now.”

A routine traffic stop by a Morgan County Sheriff’s officer for failure to use a turn signal and a window tint violation ended in an arrest on a charge of heroin trafficking for a 28-year-old Hepzibah man last week.

Deal proposes overhaul of Ga. ethics commission

ATLANTA (AP) - Gov. Nathan Deal is proposing an overhaul of the state ethics commission after a recent jury verdict in favor of an ex-commission employee who claimed retaliation for investigating the governor.

Deal's spokesman Brian Robinson said Monday that the governor's proposal would expand the commission and allow each branch of government to appoint four members. The current five-person commission would grow to 12.

BCHS took advantage of mistakes by Putnam pitching, nine walks and three hit batters, to score a season high 19 runs en route to a 19-4 rout of the Eagles Friday in Eatonton.  

Austin Simmons went 3 for 4 with a double and 4 RBI.  Cal Young was 2 for 3 with a double and 4 RBI.  Bryant Trice went 2 for 3 with 1 RBI.  Dylan Churchwell, who got the pitching win, was 2 for 4 with a double.
