Cut Out the Junk - Mail, That Is

Who would like to get less junk mail in your mailbox? Me, me!! Here are a few ways you can reduce the number of unsolicited credit card offers, catalogs, yellow pages and random of other flotsam that arrives in your mail box daily.

But first a little reminder, that if you have donated to a group or purchased a product from a company, legally they can still send you mail until you specifically tell them not to.  The following options will help with the unsolicited selling and sharing of your name.

Another quick tip is to setup junk email account (think Gmail, Hotmail or Yahoo) for doing requests like this just in case your email falls into the hands of a spammer.

Hot Chelle Rae to Headline Ga. National Fair

The annual Georgia National Fair has announced the performers for their concert on Oct. 13.

The headline attraction for that night will be the pop-rock band Hot Chelle Rae, who had such hits as "Tonight Tonight,","I Like it Like That" and "Honestly."

The Nashville-based band skyrocketed to the Top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in July of last year.

The opening act for the concert is Allstar Weekend. The California-based band rose to popularity with the release of their 2010 debut album "Suddenly Yours."

According to Michele Treptow, communications director for Georgia National Fair, "Bringing in Hot Chelle Rae to headline the event and Allstar Weekend was a decision to help appeal to the younger generations to get them excited about coming out to the fair."

Georgia National Fair will be organizing one additional concert and will announce details as soon as possible.

Tickets, $25 apiece, go on sale online Aug. 25.
