You can help boost the Eatonton local economy during a Cash Mob!

Head downtown Eatonton for a Cash Mob Nov. 2 Thursday and again on Friday, Nov. 9.

What is it?  "A cash mob is an organized event where a group of people meet at a local business prepared to spend a predetermined amount of money.  The purpose of a cash mob is to support the local business and the community as a whole," according to an Eatonton Chamber of Commerce news release.

How it'll work:

"Meet at 11 a.m. on the front lawn of the Putnam County Courthouse on Nov. 2 or on the center lawn of The Village at Harmony Crossing on Nov. 9 with a minimum of $20 in hand ready to spend at a designated store that will be announced upon meeting.

Afterwards, everyone is encouraged to regroup with friends and enjoy lunch at a restaurant of your choice."
