MADISON – Georgia’s first lady Sandra Deal visited Morgan County Pre-K and Kindergarten and Putnam County Primary students, Thursday, Feb. 21, to underscore the importance of reading and early literacy.
The trip to East Georgia carried her from Social Circle to Madison and on to Eatonton later in the day, as part of a reading campaign started by Gov. Nathan Deal’s and the First Lady, who is a retired teacher.
