Man Murdered in Hancock County | Crime

The GBI is investigating who shot a man in the head at a Hancock County business last night.

According to the Hancock sheriff's office, it happened around 11 p.m. at a deer processing shop on Highway 16 East.

Someone entered the shop -- named Garner's Grinder -- and shot co-owner Nelson Gardner in the head.

Garner's body has been taken to a GBI crime lab for an autopsy.

The GBI's Milledgeville office did not return our phone calls.
