Christmas Tree Lot Opens in Eatonton

Starting Monday, November 19, you'll be able to head over to Crooked Pines Farm to pick out a fir tree for your living room!

You'll be able to enjoy apple cider or hot chocolate as you meander through the tree lot. 

The tree lot opens Monday, November 19 from 2-8 p.m.

The hours will then be:

Mon-Fri: 2-8 p.m.
Saturday: 10 a.m.- 8 p.m.
Sunday: 2-6 p.m.

Celebrate 4th of July at Lake Freedom Festival

Head over to Lake Sinclair for a 4th of July Celebration!

A 5K and Fun Run kicks off the day at 8 a.m. and then in the afternoon from 1-8 p.m., kids can enjoy the water zone and parents can enjoy the shopping!

The day ends on a final note with fireworks.

Annual Dairy Festival Set for June

EATONTON, GA.-- The annual Central Georgia festival that celebrates the local dairy industry, Eatonton's Dairy Festival, returns June 2. 

The festival events take place around the Putnam County Courthouse and is sponsored by the Pilot Club.

Main events involve  a parade, BBQ, live entertainment. Here is the 2012 festival schedule:

8 a.m.    Road Races -Sponsored by the Farmers and Merchants Bank

9 a.m.    Booths open on and around the Courthouse Square
