5th Annual Fun Day for Kids Features Waterslides, Music

Saturday, May 12, 2012 there will be a Fun Day for Kids at Walter B. Williams Park

You'll be able to enjoy free hot dogs, drinks, drinks, icicles as well as games, volleyball, a playhouse, waterslide, clowns, fishing, music and a fashion show.

That's from noon until 5 p.m. at Walter B. Williams Park in Milledgeville.  

Admission is free and everyone is invited.

Shred Day to Help Protect Identities

Shred Day at Farmers Merchant Bank will be available to help dispose of those unneeded documents that have personal identifiers such as addresses and Social Security numbers.

Shred Day is May 12 at the Lake Oconee Branch. That's from 10 a.m. until noon.

Air Show Features Blue Angels

Air Show Features Blue Angels

ROBINS, AFB., GA.--The Air Show lineup features performers including the U.S. Navy Blue Angels, F-18 Hornets, the C-130 Hercules, and the Air Force F-22 Raptor.

The air show is free and open to the public and starts at 11:30 a.m.

You can park at the Macon Airport, McConnell-Talbert Stadium and Anchor Glass and then catch bus transportation to the show. The shuttle starts at 9:45 a.m. both days and gates open at 10 a.m.

The shuttle runs until 5 p.m.

According to Crooked Pines website, various camps will take place throughout the summer, including activities like a petting zoo, hayrides, games and snacks.

Parents will be able to drop off their kids at 7:30 a.m. and pick them up no later than 5:30 p.m.
