March Networking at Noon

Networking @ Noon, sponsored by Piedmont Financial Solutions, is from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. at The Lodge on Lake Oconee.

It's $10 per person. That cost includes lunch.

Agenda: includes lunch, Chamber updates, sponsor presentation, table introductions, commercials and general networking.

Relay for Life in Putnam County

Relay for Life in Putnam County

Relay for Life, the walk/run to help support the American Cancer Society, is set for May 4 in Putnam County

The events take place at Putnam County Primary School. Opening ceremonies are at 7 p.m.

Next Team Captain Meeting will be March 13th at 6 p.m. at Eatonton First United Methodist Church.

While the entry deadline to enter is over, a photography exhibition takes place this March.

The reception for submitted entries and their families is on March 16 from 5:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. The best in show winners will be announced during the reception.

Who Doesn't Love a Yard Sale?
Crooked Pines Farms will host a yard sale to benefit a Wildlife Rehabilitation Program.The yard sale is set for March 3 from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. (Rain or shine!)
If you have items to sell, you can grab the  booth application here. 
Booth fees ($25 per booth) will 
go towards developing a
wildlife rehabilitation program.

Ho, Ho, Homicide a Murder Mystery Dinner Theater presented by The Eatonton-Putnam Chamber of Commerce. That's set for Thursday, March 2.

"Despite the efforts of the arctic inhabitants, productivity is at an all-time low, upsetting many and putting Santa's legacy at stake. Desperate for a change, there are many who are willing to do almost anything to increase efficiency and restore peace at the North Pole. But only one who will go too far and commit an act of murder in this mystical place." Character tickets are on sale!

5K Run to Benefit Abused Animals

5K Run to Benefit Abused Animals

"For the Love of Kratos Benefit Run," is set to benefit animal shelters in Bibb, Houston, Baldwin, and Putnam Counties. 

The effort, organized by Bonnie Murphey of the Macon Tracks Club, supports only non-kill shelters and will also partially support the efforts of a local veterinarian who is providing “indigent care” to abused animals. 

The run is set for March 17 at 8 a.m. That'll be at Mount Zion Church on Rivoli Road.

100 percent of all proceeds go to the cause.

Trooper’s new owner is helping with the event and will bring Trooper with him.
