John Hancock Academy in Sparta will close at noon Tuesday and will be closed all day on Wednesday due to pending winter weather.

New, but familiar, face at OFTC’s Porter Center

Oconee Fall Line Technical College’s Porter Center has a new Conference Center Coordinator, Sherry C. Lewis. Sherry has served in several capacities at the college over the years and is excited to be a part of the Porter Center team.

“I am happy to be back at the College working with our Dublin community,” said Lewis.

“Whether its working with local businesses for corporate events and meetings or brides for their wedding receptions, Sherry is a talented individual that can help plan a special event,” said OFTC Provost Beth Crumpton. “We are excited to have Sherry with us.”

Warner Robins: Saturday at 10 a.m. down Watson Blvd. (Al Roker and his wife will grand marshal.)

Perry: Saturday, 4 p.m. on General Courtney Hodges Blvd.

Centerville: Lighted parade at 7 p.m. Saturday

Forsyth: Thursday, Dec. 5 at 7 p.m.

Rhine: Saturday at 3 p.m.

Bolingbroke: Saturday at 3 p.m. downtown

Milledgeville: 3 p.m. Sunday, downtown

Gray: Tuesday, Dec. 10 at 7 p.m.
