A Red Carpet Awards Gala features Lake Oconee Living's Readers' Choice Awards Friday.

Gala-goers can warm up with the cocktail hour beforehand, hear the winners and then relax at the after party with food and drinks from the local winners.

Wanted: Student Entries for Student Design Contest

Oconee Fall Line Technical College (OFTC) is seeking entries from local students for Georgia's Annual Manufacturing Appreciation Week Design Competition for elementary through high school students. Students from across Georgia will submit artwork depicting the importance of manufacturing to their lives and communities. The contest includes three categories:

A theatrical comedy, "I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change" tickets are $16 and happens at the Plaza Arts Center in Eatonton.
